Care instructions

For all garments except wetsuits:

  • Machine wash in cold water with like colours

  • Do NOT Tumble dry

  • Hang to dry in a cool shady area away from sun

  • Do not use bleach, fabric softeners or dryer sheets

  • Do not iron

The below special care is required for your 2XU wetsuit:

When getting into and out of the wetsuit, step into the legs and pull the suit over the knee and up to the waist, being careful not to snag the high stretch materials with toe and fingernails. Insert arms into the sleeves until the suit covers the shoulders. Pull the gusset over the head (front entry suits only) and close the zipper. To get out of the suit, reverse the process, turning the suit inside out as you go. Wetsuit for surface activity only read instructions before use hand wash only drip line drying in shade do not iron do not bleach do not tumble dry do not dry clean.

How should my 2XU Wetsuit fit?

Your suit should fit adequately in terms of both your height and weight. In the case that you fit into more than one size, you should opt for the smaller size. While 2XU Wetsuits come in both men's and women's styles, some females prefer the fit of a men's suit. This is fine. On the arms, your wetsuit sleeves should finish at least one finger gap in distance from your wrist bone. This will ensure the suit is sitting high enough and does not pull on the shoulders. In the legs, the wetsuit legs should finish 3/4 of the way down your shin. This will ensure the suit is sitting high into the crutch. If sitting too low, the suit will pull on the top of the shoulders.

Around the neck, the wetsuit should be firm but not to the point that breathing is restricted. If the neck bunches at all, the suit is too big. The neck is the number one area water can enter the suit, so it needs to be secure.

Colour Of Suit

Hello

The colour of the suit is not the same as in any of the photos. The colour is a flat black matt finish. It dose not match what is advertised. They are vary misleading photos. When I contacted 2XU they said thats what it looked like wet, after taking it in the water it did not change colour at all. The only way they were able to get the suit to have this look is to photo shop the images. This suit is falsely advertised.

Great wetsuit for speed

A great wetsuit - highly recommend it. Good for going faster in the open water, it helps keep you as vertical as possible. I've been ocean swimming during winter and it keeps me pretty warm, but I think the Proper Pro is more designed for speed than warmth.

Size XXL

Great suit. Have probably had a dozen wetsuits over the last 50 years and this one is by far the best fitting. I am 6'2" - 248# - 40" waist & 50" chest, so most suits are too tight in the chest or too loose in the waist; but this suit fits well all over. The weight is minimal and thermal protection is very good since there is very little seepage. The suit doesn't shine like the pictures but that's fine with me.
