Assist swimming

I have found these shorts do lift the bottom part of the body that assists in getting correct streamline. They are very tight to put on. By the sizing, I was between a M & L - I purchased the L which is a tight squeeze to get on but you don't notice it when you are in the water. I do believe I bought the correct size.
