Sure, you’ve built an Ironman chassis and engine, but what good is it when a timing chip ends up rubbing your Achilles tendon (figuratively and literally) throughout the whole long course race?

I have always had problems with chaffing around whatever timing chip strap I wear. This is the first strap to not cause any issues. It is so comfortable you can't feel that you are wearing anything

I just started in person racing again and got lots of compliments on this timing chip holder!
I was going to say it was a little big, but then read it was supposed to go on your ankle... Makes sense now!
I run obstacle course races so I wear it on my wrist as the ankle isn't practical with the trail running and going over certain obstacles. It goes on easy and don't have to worry about being one of those dreaded stories about a timing chip breaking off with the plastic wrist band they give you.
