    My new favourite running tights

This is my third pair of light speed long tights and I decided to go for a Medium size (I am 183cm and 80kg) over the small I usually get.

These fit perfectly and really comfortable to run in. Your knees do actually feel more snug and supported which is a plus. The compression does feel a little different than the normal light speed tights but still very firm.

The only criticism is that there is only one rear pocket for your phone. I would love to see a zip pocket like the others. These are my new favourite pair of tights though!

    Wow, just wow

First, I have both Core and Lightspeed tights that I use for running and the gym - I've used a lot of different brand/models, and am a long time 2XU wearer... so I thought I would get a pair of these and try them.

Appearance: They don't have the huge X on the legs which is nice - not like you're broadcasting you're wearing a top tier running tight screaming "look at me!!!!". The designs are not distracting and I like that. The back pocket holds my phone perfectly - a feature I generally don't use because the pockets are too small, or a bad design. This one gets it right.

Fit & Feel: I think these fit better than the Core. Everything just lines up around the knee, and the waist does not cut into me. The regular Lightspeed feel "tighter" in the thighs and calves on, but these have a very good compressive feel to them and actually feel slicker than the Core. Overall, they sit right where they are supposed to though if you are shorter, they are longer than the model shows - which almost looks like 7/8 instead of full length. What I also like is that they are thinner than the regular Lightspeed, so don't feel as warm when I wore them on my run at the gym today.

Pros over Core: More support around the knees - it's subtle, but it is there. The fit is slightly tighter so gives a little bit more compression, but not too much

Cons over Core: Price is a bit more - sorry, only con I can come up with - but that $50 is a good amount of difference.

    Pros over Lightspeed:…

    OMG

I suffer with knee pain in my right knee. These tights are great. They have helped with all activities plus the material is comfortable and smooth.

    Impossibly good

My wrestling coach always told us to tape ourselves so we’d know how but I never leaned to care for my current meniscus tear and it’d be impossible to get this effect with just tape. Not only did my tender knee survive my run and hard intervals like nothing, so did my ITs and shins.

I loved the new force leggings so much I tried these guys and I’m so happy I did. It takes a little while to figure out how they fit so the reinforcements are in place but once you do you’ll know it’s right.

When running and normal little pain points pop up, they just sort of dissipate away under the pressure and support, it’s magic. I recently pulled out a 15 year old pair 2XU legging to help with an injury and they still worked so well after all these years, I’m so glad I came to their site to get a refresh on their tech.
